    Our full-time study programmes are designed to maximise your career prospects and widen your options for further or higher study.
    This qualification is for those who are relatively new to the industry and want to develop their plumbing knowledge and skills. It provides a platform where you could progress onto an Apprenticeship programme.

    You will be taught by industry-experienced tutors in workshops that reflect the workplace.
    Work experience is also an integral part of our study programmes, enabling you to gain essential exposure to the world of work.

    T Level

    This qualification covers units such as:
    • Principles of Plumbing Science
    • Plumbing Installation Technology.
    • Health & Safety Within the Industry
    • Basic Practical Skills

    If required for your chosen career or HE course, you may wish to study English & maths to Level 3.

    Elements of Study
    Your programme consists of the following elements:
    • Study of your chosen vocational subject (50% of your programme)
    • English and maths (continued until the achievement of GCSE grade 4 (C) or equivalent)
    • Employability skills (e.g. punctuality, attendance,communication and team work)
    • Work experience (giving you a taste of working life)
    • Tutorial & personal development (e.g. healthy living, volunteering and citizenship skills)

  • Future opportunities

    After you have completed the course you could remain in college or choose to look for paid work. You could opt for a Plumbing Apprenticeship and work as an Apprentice Plumber.

    Following further study you could work as:
    • A Plumber, earning between £16,000 and £40,000, depending on experience.
    • A Kitchen and Bathroom Fitter, earning between £15,000 and £35,000 a year.
    • A Handyperson, earning between £14,000 and £23,000 a year.

    T Level

    Assessment


    All learners will complete an individual learning plan which will be discussed with their tutor throughout the course.

    Financial


    You may not have to pay tuition fees at all, if you fall into one of the groups eligible for fee exemptions. If you feel you may be eligible or would like someone to explain course fees in more detail, pleasecontact us via our Live Chat service available on any page of our website.

    Adult Learners


    Adult learners (19+) must provide evidence of their existing qualification at enrolment. Learners may not be able to enrol if this information is not provided when requested. If you have lost any certificates please contact your school in the first instance. If they are unable to provide a copy, you can contact one of the following exam boards (your school will be able to tell you which one applies to the exams you took):

    Studying at College
